Red Shelf Lateral Files for Department Colour Coding

The Avery 45113 is a red foolscap shelf lateral file, 242 x 367mm, made from 300gsm extra heavy weight board with 35mm of expansion and a reinforced side tab, packed 100 to a box.

Avery positions these files for department segmentation and offers them in red, blue, green and yellow, without assigning a meaning to any colour, so the legend is yours to set. The reinforced side tab takes colour code and file title labels, and the files suit existing shelf units, cabinets and mobile shelving. No fastener is fitted.

Giving one department or record type the red file lets a team see a whole group at a glance along a shelf. Where the papers need holding in place, Avery publishes the option of adding a Tubeclip or Permclip fastener, bought separately, so the file can stay loose or be clipped.
