Artline 70 Permanent Marker, Purple, Box of 12

Purple Artline 70 permanent markers in a box of 12, each with a 1.5mm bullet nib and listed by ACCO Australia as code 107006.

Purple is a useful extra shade for colour coding when a filing or storage scheme runs past the basic colours, and it suits classrooms and art rooms that want more than black on their labels. ACCO names cardboard and wood as porous surfaces it suits, and steel and glass as non-porous ones.

Inside each barrel is alcohol-based ink that ACCO describes as drying instantly, fed through an acrylic fibre nib that draws a 1.5mm line. Twelve in a box covers a department or a class set without reordering single markers one at a time.
