Artline 50 Permanent Marker, Black, Box of 12

A box of 12 black Artline 50 permanent markers with a 6mm chisel nib, ACCO Australia code 105001, for large, heavy lettering on cartons, pallets and signage.

The 50 carries a wider chisel nib than the Artline 30 and 190. ACCO lists a 6mm nib size and a 3-6mm line width, and the box front prints 3-6mm beside the nib symbol, so one marker covers narrower edge strokes and wide fills. It suits dispatch areas, stores and building sites.

ACCO pairs an alcohol-based ink that dries instantly with a list of surfaces: cardboard, wood, steel and glass. The box prints fiber tip, permanent marker, waterproof, instant drying and xylene free. ACCO's feature text names an aluminium barrel and acrylic fibre nib, while its table says Plastic.

For a 5mm chisel see the 30 and 190 in our chisel tip markers range. Bullet nib markers are under permanent markers, and the Artline collection with our writing supplies page covers the rest.

FAQs

From 3mm to 6mm. ACCO lists a 6mm chisel nib and a 3-6mm line width, and the box front prints 3-6mm.
ACCO's feature text describes a hard-wearing aluminium barrel, while its specification table lists Plastic. We show both because ACCO has not resolved it.
ACCO names cardboard and wood as porous surfaces and steel and glass as non-porous ones. Try it on a hidden area first when the finish matters.
Yes. ACCO's safety data sheet for the Artline 50, 100, 110, 120 and 130 permanent markers, dated 20 Dec 2023, is attached to this page. It uses the signal word DANGER with hazard statements H225, H318 and H335, lists a solvent odour and classes the product as Dangerous Goods UN3175 for transport. ACCO's marketing calls the ink low odour, so we quote the safety data sheet instead.
