A Wide HEPA Panel for the Larger AeraMax DX95

The DX95 is the bigger of the two AeraMax DX purifiers, and this broad, near square True HEPA panel is the replacement it was built around.

Fellowes Australia list item 9287201 for the AeraMax DX95, and its box adds two older models: "works with AeraMax DX95, 290 and 300". The filter slides out of a side drawer on the purifier, so a change takes a minute and no tools. One filter comes in each box.

By Fellowes' figures the panel is 16.3125 x 12.625 x 1.1875 inches, roughly 414 x 321 x 30 mm, close to three times the width of the DX5 filter. Fellowes quote the same 99.97% capture of particles as small as 0.3 microns for this filter, and like the smaller filter it carries AeraSafe, the antimicrobial treatment Fellowes say guards the filter media itself against odour causing bacteria, mildew and fungi.

Fellowes recommend replacing it about every 12 months with normal use, prompted by the DX95 filter change indicator. Its carbon partner, the large DX95 carbon filter, is sold separately and is changed every 3 months by Fellowes' guide.

No. The DX5 uses the narrow 9287001 filter. This one is the large panel Fellowes list for the DX95, and the box also names the AeraMax 290 and 300.
On the DX95 the filter sits in a side drawer, according to Fellowes. Slide the drawer out, swap the panel and reset the filter change indicator as the purifier's instructions describe.
