Tubefast

A tubeclip is the three-piece fastener that holds punched paper inside a manilla folder or lateral file: a base fixed to the folder, a U-piece through the punch holes, and a bar that folds the legs flat so the file still closes. Buy complete sets when you are making up new files, and base-only or U-piece and bar packs when you are replacing the half that wears out first. Self-adhesive bases go straight onto the folder; non-adhesive flat bases suit folders already punched for a rivet or staple.
