Colour coding is the point most often skipped and the one an auditor asks about, because a bucket that moves between a toilet block and a kitchen carries everything with it. Assign colours by zone and stick to it. The wringer then decides how wet the floor is left: a side press handles flat mops, a downward press suits traditional heads. Castors matter on long runs.
