BioPak 8L Compostable Bin Liner Roll of 25 x 40

BioPak BioPlastic Bags are made from Ecopond bioplastic. These 8L eco-friendly bin liners are certified home compostable to European standards and compostable to ASA736-2006 Australian standards. These compostable bags are an environmentally friendly alternative to plastic bags. Bioplastic bags with handles are banned in QLD, VIC, NSW & WA. They are accepted if not used to carry goods (for eg. as bin liners or dog waste bags).

• Our bioplastic rubbish bags are made from synthetic bioplastic combined with plant-starch – Ecopond.
• These compostable bin liners are certified home compostable (AS5810) and commercially/industrially compostable (AS4736) to Australian standards . That means these compostable bin bags are accepted wherever municipal organic waste collection services exist. If the trash bags do end up in the environment, they will biodegrade more rapidly than conventional plastic bags.
• Bioplastics have a 6-month shelf life from purchase and must be stored out of the direct sun and below 35°C.
• Custom printed bags are our speciality. We offer free printing – minimum orders vary. The minimum order for 80L bin liners is 19,000 units, and for 8L bin liners is 150,000 units. Please contact us for more info.

Disruptive at our core, BioPak was born from necessity. As a solution to a problem. Our founders, Richard Fine and Gary Smith, recognised the alarming stats: Over 91% of plastics produced aren’t recycled.
