Heavy A3 Watercolour Pad on a Twin Wire Spine

The X-Press It Aqua Pad Wire Bound 300gsm A3 gives painters 15 heavier sheets of medium texture paper at A3 for wetter, more ambitious work.

Moving up to 300gsm adds body to each sheet, so this A3 pad copes better than the 200gsm version when you flood the page with water or rework an area. The label notes medium texture and twin wire binding, calls the sheet watercolour and mixed media paper, and the count stays at 15.

At 297 x 420mm with the heavier weight, it is a sound choice for senior art students, landscape painters and anyone layering glazes over a pencil underdrawing. Gouache, ink and watercolour pencil can all be combined on the same page.

It sits in the middle of the Aqua range. It is heavier than 200gsm with the same medium texture and 15 sheets, while the 350gsm pad is smooth and has 12 sheets.
Any paper can move when soaked. Taping the sheet edges to a board while painting helps keep a large A3 sheet flat.
The teal band at the foot of the label reads 300gsm, acid free, as printed by X-Press It.
