Matte Black with Palladium: A Sonnet That Does Not Shine
Parker 1931522 is the Sonnet fountain pen in matte black lacquer with palladium coated clip and trim and a medium stainless steel nib, chosen by people who want a fine pen that looks quiet on the desk.
The matte lacquer has no gloss, so it tends to hide smudges better than polished black, and the silver-tone palladium trim keeps the look cool and modern. Parker hand-assemble the Sonnet with elegant proportions; the cap is lacquer on brass, and Parker's graphic for this fountain pen gives a length of 134mm and a weight of 27g.
The nib is stainless steel, which Parker present as finely made and expressive to write with. A medium grade lays a confident line for signatures and handwritten notes. Black ink is listed, and the pen arrives in a Parker premium gift box, which makes it a good choice for engineers, designers and anyone whose taste runs to black watches and dark notebooks.
Matching matte black rollerball and ballpoint versions are listed. Explore executive fountain pens, fountain pen inks, executive pens and Parker.
