Orange MAX300 With Movable Padded Dividers

Choose the orange MAX300CAM when kit changes from job to job and the case needs to be easy to find: it ships with a padded divider insert you can rearrange.

Hook and loop dividers sit in a soft padded tray, so a camera, a field recorder, a drone or a set of medical devices can each have a compartment, and the layout can change later. Panaro's photos of this configuration show egg-crate foam lining the lid.

The orange shell is a standard MAX300, 336 mm by 300 mm by 148 mm externally, with an interior of 300 x 225 x 132 mm split into a 33 mm lid and a 99 mm base; it weighs 1.62 kg empty. Its shell is polypropylene, hinged on nylon pins and closed by nylon latches over a polymer O-ring, with an automatic valve to release pressure; Panaro produce it in Italy. Their IP67 certificate plus the ATA 300 Category 1, DEF STAN 81-41 / STANAG 4280 and MIL-STD-810H reports are downloadable below.

The insert is padded fabric. Water protection comes from the sealed case, which Panaro certify to IP67, so dry the case before closing it on wet gear.
Yes, MAX300S-ORANGE has pick and pluck cubed foam, and MAX300HDS-ORANGE has high density cubed foam.
The base of the case is 99 mm deep and the lid 33 mm; the padded tray sits in the base, so compartments are a little shallower than 99 mm.
Panaro's ATA 300 Category 1 report covers the MAX300 shell. Whether it can travel in the cabin depends on your airline's size and battery rules.
