Sharp Lemon Yellow, Labelled Process Yellow

Cool Yellow gives a student their own bright lemon primary in a 75ml Chromacryl tube, printed with Process Yellow beneath the colour name.

For colour wheel and primary palette lessons, a lemon toned yellow is usually on the materials list. Chroma prints Cool Yellow and Process Yellow on the front band of this tube, along with medium bodied students' acrylic and the Chromacryl logo. In the product photo the swatch is a bright, sharp lemon, cleaner and greener in feel than the deeper golden Warm Yellow.

Yellow tends to be used in larger amounts than expected, so a personal tube avoids squabbles over the shared pot. The tube fits easily in a pencil case or take-home kit, and the pale yellow label band is quick to find among darker colours.

Round out the primaries with other acrylic paints, choose some art paper and canvas, and add paint brushes in a few sizes for broad and fine work. Schools can also order through educational supplies.

FAQs

A single 75ml Chromacryl Cool Yellow tube, Chroma code CC11500.
On the photos Cool Yellow is a sharp lemon shade, while Warm Yellow is a deeper golden yellow.
Cool Yellow is labelled a medium bodied students' paint, not an artist range product.
It is a secondary name Chroma uses for its primary yellow, which helps teachers match it to Process Blue and Process Magenta on supply lists.
