Raw Umber Atelier Free Flow Acrylic, 60ml Bottle
Raw Umber is a cool, greyish olive brown for muted shadows, weathered wood, stone and quiet tonal studies.
On the swatch it reads as a cool olive brown with a soft greyish beige in the lightest passages. Raw Umber sits under the Atelier Free Flow Artists' Acrylic banner. Umbra Natur is the German name. This olive brown rates Lightfastness ASTM 1; Raw Umber reads Woolscale 8:8:8. The raw umber is Series 1, marked semi-transparent. For this cool umber, the label prints pigment PBr.7. AT10950 is the Chroma code.
A 60ml Raw Umber bottle fits a travel kit or a small studio palette, and suits tonal sketches and muted underpainting. Marked semi-transparent, the raw umber gives partial cover. This cool umber makes a low-cost trial size at 60ml. Raw Umber has a flip-top cap for small squeezes.
Raw Umber sits well beside acrylic paints. The raw umber suits paint brushes, and this olive brown goes well on canvas and paper. Raw Umber kits also use painting accessories.
