Looks Ordinary Until Somebody Peels It
The genuine Brother TZe-SE4 is a tamper-evident security label tape, 18mm wide and 8m long, black on white. It looks like an ordinary label until someone removes it.
Printed and applied, it looks like a standard black-on-white label. Peel it off and it leaves a checkerboard pattern behind, so the label cannot be put back and anyone looking can see it has been lifted. Brother's suggested uses are the obvious ones: asset marking, equipment after calibration, and across the edge of a panel or cover so an unauthorised opening shows.
It is laminated TZe tape underneath the security layer, so it carries the same construction as the rest of the range: UL recognised as a component to UL 969, and rated by Brother from minus 80 to plus 150 degrees Celsius. Brother publishes no separate durability testing for the security variant, so we quote the laminated family figures and nothing further.
Fit matters more on tape than on almost anything else we sell, because width is physical - a 18mm cassette will not go into a narrower machine. Brother lists 18 machines for this tape and the full list is below. If yours is not on it, check with us before ordering.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
