What Avery actually claims for the colour. Avery's own line, and it is the same line on every colour in this range: bright coloured labels that make your parcels and items highly visible for instant recognition. That is the whole of it. Avery publishes no meaning for any colour in this range - green, yellow, pink and orange all carry the same sentence, word for word.
So the colour means whatever you decide it means. Our own copy across this range had built a scheme out of nothing: orange for hazard and caution, yellow as the standard warning colour, pink as the deliberately non-safety option, and a ranking of which colour is most visible. Avery says none of that. Pick a colour, tell your team what it stands for, and the system is yours.
Laser only. Avery publishes this as a laser label and does not publish inkjet compatibility for the range. The software code is L7162FP, which is what you select in Avery Design and Print.
A correction. Our own listing for this code claimed a list of surfaces the adhesive sticks to, a product name Avery does not use, a list of jobs Avery does not put it to, that fluoro pink is the deliberately non-safety choice, a ranking of this colour against the others in the range and a multi-colour signalling system. Avery publishes none of it, so it has been removed.
Avery publishes the adhesive as permanent and nothing about which surfaces it bonds to, no temperature or weather rating, no moisture resistance, no viewing distance and no removable version. Where they are silent, so are we.
Avery's own name for these is high visibility shipping labels. Our site files them under signalling labels, which is our word, not theirs.

Returns, Refunds & Replacements
Mega Office Supplies accepts change-of-mind returns for unopened and unused products within 14 days from the invoice date, provided the item is returned in its original packaging and in resalable condition. Original shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is the customer’s responsibility, and a restocking fee may apply depending on the product type and supplier. Some items, including electronics, assembled or installed furniture, food, beverages, medicines, custom-made products, and certain bulk or special-order items, are not eligible for return unless required under Australian Consumer Law.
