The extra length over 10 x 12 gives room for a vase and its stems, or a figure from the waist up. According to the pack, the 25.4 x 35.56cm canvas is triple primed with acid free gesso. The cloth on the 25.4 x 35.56cm canvas is listed as cotton duck.

A pine frame sits behind the 10x14 cloth, as the label states.
