The base band confirms 15 sheets, A4 at 210 x 297mm and 300gsm. It is a middle weight that many hobby painters and art students reach for as their everyday paper.

Lift a page, tape it down and work in layers, combining watercolour with ink, pencil or gouache. The A4 size suits folios, assessment tasks and framed gifts, and the heavier sheet copes with more water than the 200gsm A4 pad.

It shares its paper with the twin wire AP300A4, so pick the binding that matches how you work. Each pad contains 15 A4 sheets.
