Each letter still gets two pages of tracing, tracking and independent practice in upper and lower case, and students trace and copy words with common phonic elements or from Year 2 spelling lists. Numerals and punctuation are practised within sentences that highlight each lesson's focus letter, in line with the WA Strand Outcome Statements.

A dedicated assessment page closes each section, and self-assessment helps students spot what to improve. Patterning exercises open lessons as memory refreshers, and alternative upper case formations support left-handed writers as they build the fine motor control and confidence needed for later years.

Explore more educational books for Western Australian students, pair the workbook with writing supplies such as sharp pencils and erasers, and keep it protected with book coverings so it stays neat through the whole school year.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0963/2795/8891/files/PascalPress_TargetingHandwritingWa_9781920728311_1_Mega_Office_Supplies.jpg?v=1792650670
