This squat jar shows black gesso through its sides, with a navy Jo Sonja's band and Gesso Black on a cream panel. A partly hidden side heading reads Fine-Grit and Maximum, matching the newer gesso label, which prints Fine-Grit Finish with Maximum Tooth. The wide black screw lid opens fully for a brush or roller.

A black ground saves you from painting a dark base coat by hand on every piece. The 250ml jar is a manageable studio size for canvases, boards and craft blanks, and the open mouth makes it easy to load a wide brush straight from the jar.

Bring brights and metallics from our acrylic paints, find boards and stretched surfaces in art paper and canvas, and see further primers, grounds and white gesso sizes in painting mediums.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0963/2795/8891/files/Jo_Sonja_s_Gesso_Black_250ml_JS71320_1_Mega_Office_Supplies.jpg?v=1791524994
