A wide opening under the black screw lid lets you dip a broad brush or roller straight in. This size suits studios that stretch their own canvas, schools preparing class sets of boards and anyone sealing large panels ahead of a mural.

Priming your own supports lets you start from raw canvas, timber or heavy card rather than buying everything ready made. One litre sits on the shelf through a term of projects or a run of big works, and the white contents give you a clean light ground under your colour.

Smaller 250ml gesso jars and other surface preparations sit in our painting mediums range.
